Sage Picking

Cultural Teachings


During the month of September the staff and students will participate in cultural teachings. We will go sage picking and have tipi and sweatlodge teachings. We would like to thank Mr. Paynter, Mr. Boulanger, Ms. Traverse, Ms. Hart, and the rest of the culture team in advance for their time and knowledge.

 

Girls Group


Girls Group is up and running again this year with the help of Ms. Gould, Miss Mytopher, Mrs. LaRiviere and other staff members. We have ventured to the corn maze and Boo at the Zoo. Click on the title for more information.

Winter Celebrations Concert


Niji Mahkwa’s Winter Celebrations Concert “The Creator’s Seven Gifts” was held on Thursday, December 10th at 6:00. Our bake/button sale raised $300 with proceeds going to the Ladybug Foundation. We thank everyone who showed their support.

 

Breakfast with Santa


Staff and students at Niji Mahkwa will have their annual Breakfast with Santa on Wednesday, December 16th. Everyone will enjoy a pancake breakfast and visit with Santa.
